Gary Towsley Gary Towsley is a Distinguished Teaching Professor of Mathematics. One of his favorite classes is Poetry and Cosmology in the Middle Ages, which he co-teaches with Ron Herzman, a Dante scholar. Gary joined the Geneseo faculty in 1974.
Dan and Nancy Loughran ’86 Like so many Geneseo couples, Dan and Nancy Loughran met on campus. Dan is senior vice president and senior portfolio manager at OppenheimerFunds. Nancy devotes her time and talent to her family and a variety of volunteer activities.
Sarah Cantatore ’12 Sarah Cantatore is a biology and psychology double major. She’s a member of the Edgar Fellows Honors Program; she received a Geneseo Foundation Undergraduate Research Grant supported through contributions to The Fund for Geneseo.
Edward Pettinella '73 Edward Pettinella has had successful careers in the auto industry, banking and real estate. The vital theories he explored and hands-on skills he learned at Geneseo in the classroom and as class president, he says, were invaluable.

Bob Viglietta ’12 Bob Viglietta, a political science and sociology major, spent his junior year studying abroad at Hacettepe University in Ankara.
Rose-Marie Chierici Rose-Marie Chierici is an Associate Professor of Anthropology, and co-founder of Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa (H.O.P.E.), a Rochester-based organization focused on promoting social justice and a better future for Haiti.
