What is an unrestricted gift?
Unrestricted funds are directed to areas where need is greatest. Unrestricted funds support merit scholarships, undergraduate and faculty research grants, internships, athletics, student life organizations, study abroad opportunities, and other programs and initiatives that benefit student life and learning at Geneseo. For many of these programs, unrestricted money from the Geneseo Foundation is a primary source of funding.
